-Manual Mode Project-
Shutter speed
Blurred action
Night time exposure
Artist statement: My intention for this project was to show my skill using the manual mode on a Nikon camera. I feel like my biggest challenge in this project was finding subjects/things to shoot. For example for the blurred action part of the project didn't turn out well because I think I didn't have a good thing to shoot such as a car or a person so I took a picture of my hands moving and a skateboard... skating. But overall I think I did generally pretty well and although I didn't demonstrate my skills with the manual mode as well as I could have. I definitely think I know how to use it and how it all works.
-Portrait Project-
Artist Statement:
My intention for this project was to interview a person (in this case my dad) and take portraits of them depending on their personality's and interests or liking's. I chose to take portraits of my dad in nature and doing his artwork because those are some of his favorite things.
-Basic Shooting assignment-
Artist Statement:
My intention for this project was to demonstrate my understanding of different photographic mediums and convey them in a way for the viewer to understand which category of medium it falls under like Macro or Portrait
-One word-
Blue
Familiar
Different
Joy
On the edge
Artist Statement:
My intention for these photographs was to represent each word and turn it into a photograph with either a literal meaning of the word or a metaphoric meaning. the 5 words that I chose for this project and turn it into a photograph. The 5 words I chose were On the Edge, Familiar, blue, joy, and Different.
-Still life-
Artist Statement:
My intention for this image was to show my daily school life, and the books and stuff I have to carry around. It could also represent the amount of time I spend on school/school work. This is a close up still life of some of my school supplies.
The Category I chose was Visual Puns.
